Discovering the wildlife of Vietnam

In 1995, Dr Mackinnon discovered two new genera of living large mammal (the vo quang ox) in Vietnam. This was the first large mammal discovery to be made in 50 years. In his lecture, he gave a fascinating and down-to-earth overview of his painstaking work in Vietnam that led to his discovery.
