HK Book Fair: Sir David Tang Authors' Forums

Dear Members,
Sir David Tang, our Patron, has most generously donated a large block of the best seats for the two sessions of "How and What and Why do Writers Write".  This is part of the Hong Kong Book Fair, with each session having a panel of three celebrated authors:

Dr Simon Sebag-Montefiore, FRSL: British journalist, historian and award-winning author, most famously of Jerusalem and Young Stalin, and presenter of several BBC television series

Alain de Botton, FRSL: Swiss writer, philosopher and television presenter, including Essays in Love and other books which have sold some 15 million copies

Carol Thatcher: British journalist, author and media personality, including author of biographies of both her parents and other books,
moderated by Sir David Tang.

The sessions are as follows:

Forum 1: Friday, 17 July, Theatre 1, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai, 5.00 - 7.00 pm
Forum 2: Saturday, 18 July, Loke Yew Hall, 1/F Main Building, Hong Kong University, 10.30 am -12.30 pm
