Ship Field trip to the Sapphire Princess (Fully booked)

The Sapphire Princess, the flagship of Cunard’s Princess line, is sailing into Victoria Harbour on Sunday, 17 April 2016.  Members are invited to an hour and a half-long tour of the ship, followed by a drinks reception and banquet luncheon.  

The Sapphire Princess was built in 2004 and was completely renovated in 2015.  She is one of the world's largest cruise ships, with a capacity of 2,670 passengers.  The tour takes members to a variety of interesting areas of the ship, to discover more about the Sapphire Princess including her unique facilities.

The Ship’s Officers have requested the company of RGS Members for a banquet luncheon including wines, following the tour, in her principal dining room.

Timings:     9.00              Meet at City Hall, Central
                 9.45              Tour of Ship
                12.00             Drinks reception
                12.30 - 2.15   Banquet Luncheon
                 3.00              Arrive at City Hall, Central

Cost:     HK$600 for Members and guests, including tour, banquet lunch and wines.

Dress code:     Appropriate clothing for being on a ship.
