Mr Ladzinski is in Hong Kong for the opening of his photo exhibition held in collaboration with luxury travel company Jacada Travel. His talk will cover a plethora of themes including buying his first ever camera at a pawn shop, sparking his first interest in photography, and experimenting with capturing his passions of rock climbing and skateboarding on film. He also discusses more recent work that takes him on expeditions to Antarctica in search of wildlife in the most extreme weather conditions, and capturing rock climbers in some of the world’s most exciting locations and stunning landscapes. He shares insights into his life at the forefront of adventurous photography globally.
Keith Ladzinski is an award-winning National Geographic photographer and film maker. Hailing from Colorado, U.S.A., his work spans diverse topics including natural history, extreme sports, advertising, landscapes and wildlife. He has travelled to the furthest reaches of each of the seven continents on assignment for publications including National Geographic Magazine and The New York Times as well as clients including Nikon, Red Bull and The North Face.
Members of the RGS, their guests and others are most welcome to attend this event, which is HK$150 for RGS Members and HK$200 for guests and others, including a complimentary glass of white or red wine. A lucky draw will be held after the talk.
