Guest may also preview “The Last Wilderness” photo exhibition at the Haven, showcasing images of Ms Prinsloo and her relationship with marine animals, captured by former world-record holding swimmer and underwater photographer Peter Marshall.
Hanli Prinsloo hails from South Africa and is a free diver, speaker, writer and a leading conservationist. She holds 11 South African freediving records and has over 10 years of competitive freediving experience and was the first South African to hold all six free diving records simultaneously. She is the founder and executive director of I Am Water, an ocean conservation organisation aiming to conserve and protect the world's oceans through human experience. She now works as a documentary filmmaker and an elite sports coach for various sports, in addition to running I Am Water. She is a Young Leader of the World Economic Forum and has travelled extensively promoting change in some of the world's most challenged communities.
Members of the RGS, their guests and others are most welcome to attend this event, which is HK$150 for RGS Members and HK$200 for guests and others including a complimentary glass of white or red wine.
