This Centre was established in 2004, and was the first and only community centre for refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Each month, it provides 600 vulnerable families and individual with hot meals, clothing, shelter and other basic necessities. It also helps adults to learn new skills, with school sponsorship, providing case workers and legal assistance.
Often these members of society are overlooked and pushed away, so the core priority of the Centre is to replace this situation with food allowances, acceptance, tolerance and empathy.
