Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation and provides aid for relief and development in over 90 countries.  As part of its awareness building programme, it runs simulations and puts participants ‘in the shoes’ of a refugee. 

In the experience, participants face simulated attacks, deal with minefields or face life in a refugee camp.  Participants may also be marched under guard, subjected to ambush and, ultimately, offered a chance of re-settlement where they must re-build their lives. 

The experience is co-developed with refugees, internally displaced persons and aid workers to give as realistic a scenario as possible and to target issues and raise awareness.

12:45    Meet at City Hall Central 
13:00    Coach to Hong Kong Gold Coast
13:45    Arrival
14:00    Introduction to the programme
14:30    Simulation
16:30    Visit to the Fair Trade Café and Shop
17:00    End of programme & return to Central by approximately 17:45

Cost:
$480 for Members and $580 for Members' guests.  Members may bring guests on this trip, subject to availability.
