The Head of English Nature and leader of the Royal Geographical Society's expedition to Brunei, zoologist Lord Cranbrook described the rich biodiversity of the Belalong rainforest. Over a twoyear period, numerous local and international scientists studied all aspects of the forest and helped to expand the knowledge of rainforest ecology.
