The manager of the beautiful wetland marshes in Hong Kong gave a fantastic and well rounded presentation on the management and ecology of these marshes which support over 60,000 migratory birds. Mai Po is home to extremely rare birds and several unique species of insects and invertebrates. The branch has organised several field trips to Mai Po in the past.
