Members were given a fascinating tour of operations at the world's busiest container port. The tour was followed by a presentation by the coordinator of the visit, Mike Trueman, who, wearing a different hat, spoke of his role on Everest during the tragedies of May 1996. Mike provided the communications link with the outside world and was the rescue coordinator at Base Camp.
