The branch was delighted to welcome back Sir Chris Bonington CBE for his second lecture in Hong Kong. The distinguished mountaineer gave a multimedia autobiographical presentation on his climbing career, which began in 1951, covering his many first ascents and expeditions. Chris has received many awards including the Founder's Medal of the Royal Geographical Society and the Livingstone Medal of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.
